Hello! Feel free to browse through the posts. Most are answers to questions we've been asked about Bulletproof Coffee.
I can't recall exactly who said it on Asprey's blog, but they said "Starting Bulletproof coffee is the end of packing light." Is it a hassle? ABSOLUTELY. Is it worth the effort? MORE THAN I CAN RAVE ABOUT.
Traveling is always great, but it really does take a toll on your system, and having this one thing in your favor is an invaluable plus.
4. Bring your ammo: hand blender or Contigo thermal mug. Because we are such Bulletproof Junkies, (and reverends of this cult haha) we bought ahand blender. It works so well and is so easy to clean up and is portable. We bought a Black and Decker one for around 2000. Well worth the investment. Asprey though, put together this super rock-and-roll method of making Bulletproof Coffee on the go.
You can use any good quality Arabica, as close to the farm as possible. Of course, we recommend our ownSagada Dark Roast which you can order on this site. For this, you will need a Contigo mug, as I previously mentioned which you can purchase at any S and R. Please do not use a cheap plastic mug. Hot liquids, shaking. Not fun.
This run and gun way of doing Bulletproof Coffee basically involves brewing the coffee, putting the butter and MCT and shaking vigorously as you can for 30 seconds to break down the fat. Please don't shortcut this step and just mix it as you will have HORRID coffee. Don't blame us haha. Also, make sure the coffee is piping hot when you do this, as otherwise, it won't break the fat down either. This method is NOT BAD, but it isn't as great as your creamy, blended standard Bulletproof Coffee, but it is definitely a worthy substitute. So with that, I end this blog and resume errands and daunting packing responsibilities. Ta ta for now! |
AboutWe started this blog in August of 2015 to help out our friends who decided to give Bulletproof coffee a go, and it has since picked up the pace. So, hooray! Categories
